1) So often, we want to be perfect, thinking perfection is more interesting, more likeable. Guess what? It’s not!

Being yourself is infinitely more exciting…and relatable.

So, mess up (but learn!), show others your flaws (but grow!), and just be yourself…

And the rest will follow!

3) Did you ever see the movie, We Bought a Zoo? To be honest, I thought the movie was so-so, but I thought this line spoken by Matt Damon’s character was BRILLIANT! 

I love how this line makes courage more manageable. Thinking we may need to maintain our courage for an entire hour or an entire day? A little overwhelming.

For just 20 seconds? Hey, that’s doable!

Whether you’re feeling angry, sad, or just plain grumpy because your coffee hasn’t kicked in yet, make the decision to put a smile on your face.

Because if you act happy (even when you don’t feel it), you’ll inspire everyone around you to be happy as well.
