Beauty appears when something is completely and absolutely and openly itself. ~ Deena Metzger

Wouldn’t it be great if instead of acting like our biggest critic, we acted like our greatest cheerleader? If instead of beating ourselves down, we built ourselves up?

Great? Sure. Easy? Not always.

Most of the time, we’re berating ourselves, telling ourselves that we’re not pretty enough, not skinny enough, not confident enough, not smart enough…just not enough.

So, we feel scared to be ourselves. We feel as if we have to be someone else, someone better in order to be liked and accepted.

But instead of being someone better, we constantly feel as if we’re swimming upstream, exhausted from trying to be what we think everyone else wants us to be, instead of being ourselves.

Enter Be Yourself and the Rest Will Follow®

Hi, I’m Rachel. Yep. The girl to the left.

I launched Be Yourself and the Rest Will Follow® because I wanted to help women and girls (and men too!) love and accept themselves more.

Because, to quote Oprah (and it seems only fitting that with a blog of this nature that I do), “one thing I know for sure” is that life goes better when you’re “you”.

When you’re “in your groove”. When you’re living life your way. Authentically. Consciously. And proactively.

And that’s what this blog helps you to do.

Twice a month (sometimes more, sometimes less!), I offer practical, easily-digestible wisdom (that won’t put you to sleep!) for not just being yourself (though that’s important!), but for being your best self.

No matter where you are on your journey, whether you’re already “in your groove” or you need a little help (or a lot!) getting there, I hope you’ll join me on this journey filled with everything you need to be you…and then some.

(It’s easy to join me! Sign up in the right sidebar to get blog updates by email. I promise, I’ll never share your email with anyone…not even Oprah!)

Trust me, be yourself and the rest will follow.®
